Jesper Steffensen joined as new partner in DEGE Consult effectively March 2009. Jesper brings decades of local government expertise from more than 20 countries into DEGE Consult. Jesper substantially strengthens DEGE consult in its core areas in particular in our work on fiscal decentralization and work in Asia. Jesper´s CV gives more information. Jesper currently lead  several DEGE assignments in Asia (see further below).

Barbara Noest has recently taken up a long term contract in Zambia working with civil society and democratic governance. However, she maintains her association with DEGE.

Tom Blomley has joined as an associate Consultant of DEGE. Tom is a leading specialist in local and decentralised forestry management. He substantially strengthens DEGE capabilities in work with decentralised natural resource management.
